Fiona Crestani
Fiona Crestani was born in Christchurch, New Zealand and has been living and working in Austria since 1993. She graduated in the sculpture, textile and arts and craft classes at the University Mozarteum, Salzburg. She then completed the postgraduate course for Innovative Weaving Culture from the Art and Design University Linz, in cooperation with the Textile Centre Haslach. Crestani has continually showed her work in exhibitions both nationally and internationally including ,,Koromo”, Gallery Mingei, Paris, curated by Philippe Boudin in 2015 and ,,Koromo’, Shikoku Mura Gallery, Japan, curated by Shukuko Voss-Tabe in 2018. She has been awarded several scholarships and prizes.
